We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Workshop Supervisor to lead our team in the Wodonga Workshop. As a key member of our Automotive On-Highway team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and apprentices to achieve exceptional results and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless processes from start to finish, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to the Branch Leadership.
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a willingness to get involved.

Requirements

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic is preferred, but we will also consider a Light Vehicle background with heavy experience.
  • Experience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles, including Kenworth and Western Star.
  • Experience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM procedures.
  • HR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck will be advantageous.
  • Previous or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environment.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
