Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Bay Supervisor to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Wodonga. As a key member of our Automotive On-Highway team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprentices, ensuring a smooth process from beginning to end, and adhering to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and apprentices to achieve exceptional results
- Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation
- Complete required documentation and reports
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members as needed
Requirements
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic or equivalent experience
- Experience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles, such as Kenworth and Western Star
- Experience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM procedures
- HR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck is an advantage
- Previous or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environment
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
