Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of safety and security for all personnel.

The Night Manager is responsible for being the key contact for any guest issues and enforcing strict compliance to all policies and procedures set by the hotel. Ensuring accurate reporting of all night activities and making timely decisions on behalf of the management in case of any incident or emergency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Smooth Operation: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel during the overnight hours, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service, addressing any issues promptly and resolving them in a fair and professional manner.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a high level of safety and security for all personnel, adhering to all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Accurately report all night activities, providing timely updates to management as required.
Requirements
  • Degree: Diploma of college or university in Hotel/Hospitality Management preferred but not essential.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role of Front Office operations in luxury hotel/resort.
  • Languages: Very good command in spoken and written English.
  • Skills: Knowledge in Property Management System (e.g. OPERA) and competent computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Certifications: Driver's License, First Aid certification and Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  • Work Permit: Valid working rights in Australia.
