Project Delivery Specialist

The Senior Project Manager will work with various stakeholders to gather and validate project requirements. This includes analysing and documenting system functional and non-functional requirements, translating technical requirements into project delivery requirements, and providing overall support to the Program/Portfolio Managers and the project delivery team.

• Successful Delivery of Strategic Programs/Projects: The candidate will be accountable for delivering key global programs/projects within required timeframes and aligning with business outcomes.
• Project Lifecycle Management: The job involves planning, controlling, and managing the delivery of business and technology projects over the full project lifecycle (design, build, test, deployment, and operational handover).
• Alignment and Decision-Making: The project schedules will be aligned with enterprise-level timelines, dependencies managed, and decision-making processes defined to influence strategic decisions and drive outcomes.
• Resource and Risk Management: The role requires managing internal and external resources efficiently, resolving conflicts, optimising allocation, and evaluating aggregated risks across multiple projects.
• Governance and Quality Management: The candidate will apply appropriate project governance, manage quality and timeliness of deliverables, and ensure delivery of post-implementation reviews and health checks.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Performance Reporting: Strategies for stakeholder engagement will be developed, change initiatives managed, and performance monitoring systems established, providing high-level reports to executives.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science information technology or a related discipline is required. A masters in the same would be well regarded. PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK or equivalent certification is desirable.

• IT Planning and Delivery: Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects including network and infrastructure cloud transformations (10+ years' experience).
• People and Vendor Management: Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators.
• Proven direct experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Demonstrated experience in business process re-engineering and business requirements analysis.
• Financial understanding including Capex / Opex knowledge, business case development and benefits realisation.
• Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
• Working in an offshore environment.
