Project Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Delivery Specialist to lead our engineering team. As a Project Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of projects in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be a key member of our bid team during the tendering phase on local projects.
  • You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop design specifications, select equipment and instrumentation, and take designs from the conceptual stage through implementation to installation and commissioning.
  • You will coordinate and lead a project delivery team, working with project managers and engineers to resolve design issues, schedule constraints and commercial challenges to ensure project success.
  • You will formulate implementation plans for complex critical equipment installations and cutovers.
  • You will be the go-to person during site installation of electrical, controls and automation equipment, solving design challenges as they arise and coordinating staff to ensure delivery to schedule, budget, and quality.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • You must hold a relevant engineering qualification in mechatronics, computer systems, software or similar (or show equivalent demonstrated experience in industry).
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in delivering engineering projects, preferably either infrastructure or manufacturing related.
  • Confidence on various PLC and SCADA platforms and related industrial and process automation concepts is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications including MS Office is also necessary.
  • Software development experience will be highly regarded.
  • Strong numeric, technical, and analytical skills are required.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
  • Experience in industrial/process automation will be highly regarded.
