Senior Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our digital protection product team. This role will be critical in creating a best-in-class application for our customers as we continue to evolve and scale this product.

You will leverage your breadth of experience across the full stack of technologies in building a scalable digital protection product that our customers love.

  1. Design, develop, and maintain a mobile application using react-native and a server side built with Typescript on cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  2. Partner with product teams to ship high-quality features that solve real user problems.
  3. Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions.
  4. Contribute to and uphold engineering best practices around code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
  5. Lead by example in identifying and resolving technical debt, improving performance, and increasing system reliability.
  6. Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
  7. Co-own the product with a technology lens.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of programming and software development experience.
  • Experience and comfort in react-native, Typescript, and Node.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Comfortable working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and using tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar for CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership beyond functional requirements— ensuring the right outcomes for the customer are achieved.
