Clinical Director Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist position available at the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

About the Role

This clinical leadership role provides overall clinical responsibility for the Sexual Health Service Stream, ensuring development and maintenance of specialist health services to the hospital and health service.

The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, assume overall clinical responsibility, and ensure appropriate, effective, efficient, integrated, safe clinical services in accordance with contemporary standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain specialist health services to the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
  2. Provide clinical leadership and assume overall clinical responsibility for the Sexual Health Service Stream.
  3. Maintain high-quality clinical services that meet contemporary standards.
Salary and Benefits

The remuneration value for this role is up to $497,941 per annum (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 per annum (L18 – L24), depending on experience. The position also offers employer contribution to superannuation, annual leave loading, professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, and private practice arrangements.
