Student Wellbeing and Support

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Care Worker to join our school community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our students and their families.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a strong understanding of Catholic values and mission. You will be responsible for providing pastoral care services that support the wellbeing of our students and staff.

Job Description

This is a permanent part-time position (14 hours per week) that requires a high level of organisational ability, flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, and possess a Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care services that support the wellbeing of students and staff
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other stakeholders to promote student wellbeing
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of Catholic values and mission
  • High level of organisational ability and flexibility
