Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Knowsley, providing safe care and support to vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective plans of care, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Monitor progress, identifying potential triggers for challenging behavior and taking appropriate action.
  • Contribute to planning daily activities and risk assessments to motivate and engage service users.
  • Administer and record medication accurately, adhering to relevant protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate, applying appropriate information security measures.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues, maintaining professional relationships at all times.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of service needs and ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
  • Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic systems.
  • Able to write clear, concise reports and assessments.
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours.
