Job Overview:

You will be part of a business advisory team undertaking forensic analysis and business valuation work for business and private clients. Through this role, you'll gain valuable insights into business valuations, modelling, dispute, and litigation work, enabling you to provide written reports and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quantifying and analyzing both financial and non-financial information
  • Modelling financial information for business decisions and economic loss
  • Conduct research and analysis of various business, industry, and economic data
  • Construct valuations of diverse businesses for litigation and business transactions
  • Assist in project planning and management
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in investigations
  • Prepare reports for litigation and advisory purposes
  • Collaborate closely with legal teams and stakeholders
  • Work under the guidance of a partner and have autonomy to manage projects and deliverables to deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or public practice taxation
  • Proficient use of accounting systems and tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and lateral thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining complex financial concepts to non-accountants
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations
  • Continuing interest in learning and maintaining knowledge of economic, business, and industry issues
