Job Opportunity:



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distinguished Project Coordinator to join our team in a high-profile Federal Government Department.



About the Role:




  • The successful candidate will secure an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, offering rewarding hourly rates.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major security system program, collaborating with Program Managers and Project Managers to develop, review, manage, and disseminate program and project artefacts.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating strong records management practices to ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards.
  • Key deliverables include maintaining in-depth knowledge of the program's scope, schedule, financials, stakeholders, and desired outcomes.


About You:




  • You will have experience supporting complex ICT programs and projects as a Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer, or similar role within government and/or large enterprise environments.
  • You must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail, including proven experience in providing secretariat services to senior executive boards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and negotiation is essential, along with the ability to effectively engage at all levels of an organisation.
  • You will have immense experience preparing, reviewing, and coordinating program and project artefacts, including reports, procurement documents, and communication materials.
  • A demonstrated understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, with competence in utilising Azure DevOps for task management, is also required.


Salary:



The estimated salary range for this position is between $90-$120 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
