About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the company's financial operations. As an Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and verifying invoices, processing payments accurately.
- Managing vendor relationships and resolving discrepancies.
- Recording transactions and performing AP reconciliations.
- Generating and issuing invoices promptly, monitoring collections.
- Responding to customer inquiries and managing credit limits.
- Allocating payments accurately and reconciling AR ledger.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilizing accounting software for data entry and reporting.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2-5 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable functions with a good understanding of accounting procedures.
- A high level of attention to detail with proven quality and accuracy of work.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- A true team player.
- Intermediate level of Word and Excel.
