A competitive salary is on offer for this Accounts Payable Officer position at Australian Venue Co.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team and contribute to the success of our fast-paced hospitality business. This role offers exposure to a wealth of industry knowledge, access to staff discounts on food and drink across all 200+ venues, and clear development opportunities.

As our ideal candidate, you will have qualifications in business, commerce and finance, with at least 2 years' experience in an accounts payable (or similar) role. You will also possess strong experience in and knowledge of Accounts Payable systems and processes, familiarity with high-volume inbox / Outlook management, and advanced Microsoft suite skills (particularly Excel).

In this role, your main responsibilities will include processing invoices from suppliers through the AP invoicing system into the ERP, resolving issues that may arise with invoices within the scan and capture system, preparing of supplier reconciliations on a regular basis, resolving queries and requests for payment from stakeholders, and preparing EFT payment runs from the ERP system as and when required so they are ready to be paid.

You will maintain the accuracy and completeness of the supplier master file in the ERP and AP Invoicing system. Additionally, you will ensure all invoices from suppliers are being appropriately coded and approved through the AP invoicing system before being transferred to the ERP for payment.

This role offers a WFH hybrid environment (3 days WFH option over a two-week cycle), providing a great work-life balance. You will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and other teams to achieve optimal business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and resolve queries and variances that may occur. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and a positive and flexible approach to work.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
