About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Systems Designer to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our data center solutions group, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge systems for our clients.

Job Description

The Strategic Systems Designer will be responsible for developing and executing system design strategies that meet the needs of our clients. This includes conducting site assessments, analyzing customer requirements, and designing tailored solutions that incorporate Schneider Electric's comprehensive portfolio of products and services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and presenting technical proposals to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Designing and implementing complex system architectures that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Providing training and support to clients on system operation and maintenance

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical engineering
  • At least five years of experience in the data center industry, with a focus on secure power systems, cooling systems, electrical and mechanical installations
  • Certification in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Prefabricated experience within data center boundaries is a plus
  • Previous customer-facing roles are highly desirable
