We are seeking an experienced and visionary nurse manager or ANUM to take on this key leadership role.
About the RoleThe Nurse Manager - Perioperative Services will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Operating Suite, Endoscopy Suite, and CSSD.
This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality care, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and excellence.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care.
- Champion a culture of continuous quality improvement aligned with our organisation's goals: 100% right care, 100% patient satisfaction, and 100% staff engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience in a perioperative setting.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in nursing and health management.
- Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and competencies, Commonwealth / State healthcare legislation and accreditation requirements, clinical governance, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Proven leadership and change management capabilities.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic clinical systems.
