Operations Leader for Perioperative Teams

This key leadership role oversees the operational and business direction of Perioperative Services, aligning with the strategic objectives of Epworth Richmond and Epworth Hawthorn Acute.
- Manage high-performing perioperative teams across multiple sites;
- Drive growth in theatre activity, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional patient care;
- Establish a culture of accountability, innovation, and patient-centred care;
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation readiness;
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and stakeholders.
Essential qualifications include:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or health care management;
- Significant leadership experience at a senior or executive level within an acute hospital;
- Proven expertise in clinical, financial, risk, and human resource management.
Preferred qualifications include additional education or certifications relevant to the field.
