Senior Wills and Estates Lawyer

A seasoned professional is required to join our team as a Senior Wills and Estates Lawyer.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic and respected boutique law firm, known for its exceptional people and quality of work.

  • Advising on complex estate planning, including succession of trust structures and SMSFs;
  • Business succession planning;
  • Drafting wills, testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, grant applications, and letters of administration;
  • Managing estate administration from asset realization through to distribution;
  • Delivering strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients;
  • Participating in business development activities to help grow the practice;
  • Advanced drafting skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to managing matters end-to-end;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Working on a high-quality mix of complex estate planning and estate administration matters for a loyal and growing client base;
  2. Reporting to an accomplished senior practitioner and being supported by a mid-level lawyer;

Requirements:

  • Ten years' experience in Wills & Estates law with a proven track record in advising on complex estate planning, business succession planning, and estate administration;
  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.
