Wills and Estates Lawyer

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced lawyer to join our Wills & Estates team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal solutions on a range of matters to the firm's established client base.

This role offers a challenging selection of work with specific responsibilities including:

  • Managing files related to Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and succession planning documents.
  • Preparing probate documents and other estate administration-related documents.
  • Preparing affidavits and court documents required in estate litigation matters.
  • Providing written and verbal legal advice to clients.
  • Assisting on complex files.
  • Meeting and liaising with clients.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Post-admission legal experience in estates administration, succession planning, estate planning, or estate litigation in a highly focused client service environment.
  • A current practising certificate.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer several tasks concurrently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a friendly, professional team.
  • Capacity to be self-managed and self-motivated.
