Regulatory Counsel APAC Role

About the Job

This role involves providing strategic advice on a variety of regulatory issues including licensing and other matters pivotal to our growth across the region and globally.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Advising on regulatory issues and drafting submissions to regulatory authorities responding to enquiries and helping shape our long-term regulatory strategy.
  • Developing and managing the APAC legal and compliance programme and ongoing regulatory strategy.
  • Anticipating and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws relevant to the substantive area to provide strategic advice and foster compliance.
Requirements
  • Admitted to practice in one or more relevant jurisdictions candidates from other common law jurisdictions will also be considered.
  • 5-8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior in-house experience at crypto exchanges or fintech companies is highly preferred.
  • The role will primarily involve non-contentious work however candidates with a background in contentious disputes are also welcome to apply.
