About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our risk management and compliance efforts within the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Maintain a centralised register of identified risks and issues, ensuring timely updates and accurate tracking.
  • Facilitate risk workshops with business representatives to ensure current controls remain effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide objective advice on risks and compliance issues related to proposed business strategies, leveraging deep knowledge of risk management principles and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory changes and ensure seamless submissions, proactively addressing potential issues before they escalate.
  • Review and address material breaches to maintain organisational compliance, working closely with stakeholders to resolve concerns and prevent future incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Risk Management or Business, complemented by significant experience in a complex Financial Services organisation or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance principles, with expertise in identifying and mitigating threats.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
