Compliance Manager Role

This is a key position within our Compliance team, focusing on strategic support to our business.

We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee breach identification, investigation, and reporting, as well as manage compliance activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to undertake assessments of breaches and provide compliance advice to ensure QBE meets its obligations.

  • Oversight of local compliance requirements, policies, and internal guidelines
  • Proactive input into the strategy for the AUSPAC compliance team
  • Providing compliance advice to ensure QBE meets its compliance and conduct obligations

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, along with effective time management and strong influencing skills.

Required skills include strong regulatory understanding, ability to form insights, and experience in compliance or risk management within financial services or general insurance.

Additionally, strong communication skills and ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams are necessary.
