Maintenance Operations Director

Our organization is seeking a skilled Bus Garage Manager to oversee the efficient and safe operation of our bus garages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and strategic guidance to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in applying relevant legislative and safety standards in a fleet maintenance environment. They will also possess strong values-based leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of heavy vehicle mechanics, auto electricians, coach builders, bus assistants, and trade apprentices. They will partner with various stakeholders to drive safety, continuous improvements, and future business efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to optimize garage resources and activities
- Lead and guide a team of technical staff to ensure effective and efficient maintenance services
- Partner with stakeholders to improve safety and efficiency
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential
