Rigging Supervisor Job Description

As a seasoned Rigging Supervisor, you will oversee structural steel erection projects. Your responsibilities include managing a crew of experienced workers, ensuring the safe execution of complex crane operations, and maintaining high work quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team in structural steel erection, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets
  • Develop strategies to improve crew efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of crew performance, training, and certifications
  • Collaborate with other supervisors for seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in rigging steel erection, preferably as a supervisor or lead hand
  • Proven track record of successfully managing crews in complex crane operations
  • Strong understanding of structural steel knowledge, including reading drawings, marking out, and installing steel components
  • Valid HR license and car license
  • Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Rigging Ticket (RB, RI, RA)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Work Environment:

  • On-site work at construction sites, warehouses, or other industrial locations

Working Hours:

  • 32-60 hours per week, depending on project demands

Compensation:

  • $33.19-$62.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
