Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets with meticulous attention to detail. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in project delivery.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and variations to keep projects on track.
  • Manage procurement activities and planning timeline with suppliers and internal team to achieve deliverables on time.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of engineering or Bachelor of Project Management or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a project management role in the Australian steel industry.
  • Proven experience in applying Australian Standards related to the welding, fabrication, erection, and others.
  • Excellent reporting skills to enable timely reporting to management and client.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate welding procedures, welder qualification, hold-points, NDT inspections, and similar quality processes.
  • Liaise with the Estimator to ensure proficiency in estimating.
  • Collaborate with the QA team and Welding Coordinator to manage quality control documentation for fabrication and erection scopes.
