We are seeking a skilled Track Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As a Perway Infrastructure Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to patrol, inspect, and report on the condition of our railway infrastructure in accordance with the Railway Code of Practice. You will also be responsible for carrying out or arranging repairs of our infrastructure as per our maintenance procedures.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who is happy to work independently, participate in an on-call roster, and regularly be away from home. The role involves a Monday to Friday roster with 3-4 night camping away per week, and a 9.5-hour working day. The position is based in Kalgoorlie and we are looking for candidates who live in Kalgoorlie or surrounding areas.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good working knowledge of track maintenance and procedures, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will also need to have sound planning and organisational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Additionally, you will need to hold a WA Manual driver's licence (unrestricted).
