About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Track Condition Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Interstate network, you will be responsible for the system operation, reliability and accuracy of track condition monitoring equipment.

The successful candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining equipment, with a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills. You will be required to work as an effective member of a team, liaising with drivers and train control to ensure that the operation of the train meets the recording requirements.

In this role, you will also be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and negotiating paths and schedules with Train Control staff to ensure that goals are met. You will need to be able to learn, master and apply new skills, techniques and systems quickly.

As a Railway Track Condition Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of track condition monitoring data. This will involve maintaining databases and libraries of data produced from the AK Car, and assisting in the timely distribution and archiving of all data, reports, and videos.

Our ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of computers in a technical application, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A driver's licence – Class C is also essential.

About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 AUD, depending on experience.
