Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and support the engineering vision for our internal customers.
- Develop and implement strategies that enable the chapter to align to the tools and languages required to improve our systems, optimise operations, and stimulate growth.
- Define the chapter's objectives, best engineering practices, policies, and skill proficiencies.
- Ensure that the delivered solutions conform to the agreed-upon principles and best methodology while aligning with the Chapter Area and Tribe Quarterly Business Review strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience, particularly in the telecommunications industry, complemented with exposure to leadership, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
- Industry certifications in web languages or tools, integration languages, and/or technical people leadership and coaching.
- Experience in managing teams working on complex products/solutions and capability development projects.
- Strong understanding of IT risk, information security fundamentals, defence-in-depth practices, IT risk assessment fundamentals, and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, whilst being proficient in Agile methodologies.
- Direct customer focus with refined communication skills and attention to detail.
