Central Sterilising Department Role

We are seeking an Assistant in Nursing to join our Central Sterilising Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective sterilising practices, ensuring the highest standards of care.

  • Providing a service of reprocessing reusable surgical and medical equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with best practice standards

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have the ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reprocessing Surgical Equipment: Ensure all reusable surgical and medical equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and stored in a clean and dry environment.
  2. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on all sterilised equipment to ensure it meets the required standards.
