Job Description

CSSD Sterilisation Specialist

As a skilled professional in our sterilisation team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control within our hospital environment.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and sterilised according to established policies and procedures.

  • Reprocess and sterilise reusable medical devices to meet quality standards
  • Manage inventory, maintenance schedules and sterilisation processes with accuracy

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Ensure 100% compliance with sterilisation protocols
  2. Maintain accurate records and reports
  3. Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
