Talent Focus - Lead Early Childhood Education Manager

About the Role:

As a seasoned professional in early childhood education, you will have the opportunity to lead our team of dedicated educators and caregivers in providing exceptional care and education to young children. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping the daily operations of our childcare facility, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among staff, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the quality of our childcare services, aligning with accreditation requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress through regular communication and updates.
  • Manage our childcare center's budget efficiently, ensuring adherence to financial policies and responsible resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential; a Diploma in Early Childhood would also be considered.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Centre director or in a similar leadership role within the childcare sector.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills are vital for success in this position.
  • The ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Familiarity with QIP, A&R processes, and relevant licensing regulations is expected.
