Job Title: Site Liaison

This is a full-time role based at our office, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with catering knowledge who may be looking for their next step in a business environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all Forecast and Demand Management for the assigned group of sites, generating and placing orders after appropriate review and approval processes. They will challenge order requests that appear out of the ordinary, work closely with sites to deliver the food cost target, and serve as a single point of contact for all inquiries related to recipes, menus, and supply chain.

This position will require regular on-site visits to work alongside the Kitchen team to support Menu planning and kitchen processes, ensuring a consistent offer and managing inventory and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu development and translating this into comprehensive planning on site
  • Managing food costs and addressing unforeseen variables
  • Consistent management of the Food inventory system from an onsite perspective
  • Supporting the onsite leadership team
  • Communicating and working collaboratively with Village Management and/or Head Chef to ensure the End-to-End Integrated Food inventory are upheld
  • Collaboration with Regional Catering Manager (where applicable) to ensure all aspects of food services are embedded into the site
  • Maintaining a single point of contact to resolve any product quality issues

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III, Diploma, or relative experience in Hospitality Operations preferred
  • Previous Head or Executive Chef experience required minimum 3 years
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of kitchen operations, specifically portion control and inventory management
  • Understanding of recipe and cyclic menu management
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with current Head Chefs and Village Managers
  • Computer literate, including using Excel
  • Proactive in problem-solving and attention to detail
