Key Account Liaison

We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Liaison to join our team in Perth.

About this role

You will be the central point of contact for day-to-day operational matters between our company and airlines, and the conduit for all communication between each party.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Represent the company at internal and external functions, showcasing our products and services in a strong and positive light.
  • Work closely with the National Logistics Manager on Third Party Logistics (3PL) performance.
  • Participate in regular audit and quality controls to ensure high standards are met.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on customer service, logistics, and customs information.
  • Improve customer service quality results by evaluating and redesigning processes, implementing change as needed.
  • Establish communication service standards and implement company productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Proactively address performance issues by identifying areas of non-performance and providing support to prevent future occurrences, including necessary training.
  • Contribute to effective cost management through education and training, particularly in flight make-up, aircraft loading, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • You must have proven knowledge and experience in a similar role.
  • Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are desirable.
  • You must be available to work a rotating shift roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • You must be able to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders is necessary.
  • Sound knowledge of the airline catering industry is required.
  • Competence in documentation and records management is essential.
  • You must be able to obtain an ASIC pass and an airside driver's license.
  • A clear National Police Check is required due to your role in the Aviation Services industry.
