Fleet Workshop Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Workshop Operations Manager to lead our fleet workshop team and ensure the safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation of our vehicles.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the fleet workshop, including maintenance, servicing, and repair activities.
- Supervise and train staff responsible for fleet maintenance and repairs.
- Identify opportunities for improving fleet efficiency and implement cost-saving measures.
- Develop and manage the annual fleet replacement program in collaboration with the Waste Services Coordinator.
- Oversee the ordering, storage, and management of fleet consumables.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet servicing, maintenance, and repair information in Council's corporate system (Assetic).
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and systems.
