Operational Leader - Supply Chain

Job Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to lead our Logistics team as a strategic leader in South Australia and Victorian operations.

We are seeking an experienced and agile professional with exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and business partnering abilities to oversee VIC and SA operations. As Operational Leader - Supply Chain, you will be accountable for delivering results, ensuring safety, compliance, and financial performance across both states.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of operational and financial performance of SA & Vic, ensuring profitability and accountability for outcomes.
  • Engage and support staff daily on safety practices, fostering a culture of care and promoting Safety Improvement Plans.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with wider departments, senior management, clients, and customers.
  • Enhance and implement supply chain best practices to ensure compliance with regulations and environmental standards.
  • Lead all facets of safety, service delivery, and cost control within the company fleet business.
  • Ensure strict compliance with SA/Victorian regulations, including NHVR, CoR, WHS laws, and internal policies.
  • Support negotiations and contribute to business development efforts for new customers.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in a leadership role within the Supply Chain industry.
  • A proven track record in managing and optimizing complex transport operations and supply chain networks.
  • Financial management skills, with a solid analytical acumen.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and business partnering abilities.
  • A strategic decision-making mindset, with the ability to make timely and effective business decisions while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • A continuous improvement approach, with strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
