We are looking for a Senior Associate Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to become an integral part of our team. This role involves taking a proactive lead in delivering a wide array of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls solutions for our clientele. You will effectively plan, oversee, and execute projects to fulfill client expectations, contribute to the growth of our project pipeline by nurturing both internal and external client relationships, and provide essential technical guidance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Exhibiting continuous technical engineering proficiency and professional growth, while also leading quality assurance initiatives.
- Building and sustaining business lines through the provision of electrical instrumentation and controls engineering services, alongside broader Jacobs offerings.
- Mentoring junior colleagues, fostering their professional development.
- Relevant Tertiary Degree with a solid understanding of applicable Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls standards and design practices.
- Capability to supervise and execute designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following major infrastructure sectors: Water, Power, Renewables, Rail, and Resources.
- Proven experience in leading teams focused on developing EI&C designs.
- Experience in crafting proposals for complex infrastructure clients is advantageous.
- Ability to engage both internal and external clients to cultivate a pipeline of opportunities and future workload.
- Experience with Sydney Water or within the Power sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) is beneficial.
- Eligibility for Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia is preferred.
