We are looking for a Senior Associate Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to be a key player in our team. This role involves leading the delivery of a wide array of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for effectively planning, managing, and executing projects to fulfill client expectations, while also nurturing internal and external client relationships to build a robust project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Exhibiting continuous technical proficiency and professional growth, while contributing to and spearheading quality assurance initiatives.
- Establishing and nurturing business lines through the provision of electrical instrumentation and controls engineering services, as well as broader Jacobs services.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and facilitating their professional development.
- A relevant tertiary degree and a strong understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls standards and design practices.
- Ability to supervise and execute designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Experience in one or more major infrastructure sectors, including Water, Power, Renewables, Rail, and Resources.
- Proven experience in leading teams to develop EI&C designs.
- Familiarity with developing proposals for complex infrastructure clients is advantageous.
- Experience in engaging both internal and external clients to cultivate opportunities and future workloads.
- Experience with Sydney Water or in the Power sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) is beneficial.
- Eligibility for Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia is required.
