We are looking for a Senior Associate in Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineering to contribute to our Sydney operations. This role involves taking a pivotal position in delivering a wide array of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls solutions for our clients. You will effectively plan, oversee, and execute projects to fulfill client expectations, foster the growth of our project pipeline by nurturing both internal and external client relationships, and provide essential technical guidance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Exhibiting continuous technical engineering proficiency and professional growth, while leading quality assurance initiatives.
- Building and sustaining business lines focused on delivering electrical instrumentation and controls engineering services, as well as broader Jacobs services.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and facilitating their professional development.
- Relevant Tertiary Degree with a solid understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls standards and design principles.
- Proficient in supervising and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Experience in one or more major infrastructure sectors: Water, Power, Renewables, Rail, and Resources.
- Proven experience in leading teams to develop EI&C designs.
- Desirable experience in crafting proposals for complex infrastructure clients.
- Ability to engage both internal and external clients to cultivate a pipeline of opportunities and future projects.
- Experience with Sydney Water or in the Power sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) is advantageous.
- Eligibility for Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia.
