We are looking for a Senior Associate in Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineering to contribute to our dynamic team. This role involves leading the execution of a variety of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls solutions for our clients. You will effectively plan, manage, and deliver projects that align with client expectations, while also fostering relationships to build a robust project pipeline and providing technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Exhibiting continuous technical proficiency and professional growth, while contributing to and leading quality assurance initiatives.
- Building and sustaining business lines focused on delivering electrical instrumentation and controls engineering services, alongside broader Jacobs offerings.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and facilitating their professional development.
- Relevant Tertiary Degree with a solid understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls standards and design practices.
- Proficient in supervising and executing designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications, and SCADA systems projects.
- Experience in major infrastructure sectors such as Water, Power, Renewables, Rail, and Resources.
- Proven track record in leading teams to develop EI&C designs.
- Experience in crafting proposals for complex infrastructure clients is advantageous.
- Ability to engage with both internal and external clients to cultivate opportunities and future workload.
- Experience with Sydney Water or in the Power sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) is beneficial.
- Eligibility for Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia is preferred.
