We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team in the Maritime Explosive Ordnance System Program Office (MEOSPO).
As a key member of our integrated workforce, you will support the achievement of complex financial management work to accelerate capability acquisition and sustainment activities within the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Support: Manage financial support, contribute to budget preparation and financial performance monitoring and reporting for a range of guided weapons and munitions.
- Financial Governance: Support the coordination of financial governance requirements and promote compliance to financial management frameworks.
- Advice and Solutions: Use knowledge and experience of financial management to provide advice on Defence and government financial matters, and provide project support in the design and recommendation of solutions to financial management issues.
We are looking for someone with strong commitment to working in a team environment that delivers timely and quality financial management activities relating to the acquisition and sustainment of Explosive Ordnance (EO).
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial management policies, principles and practices, and an ability to apply those in an operational environment. You should also be proficient in the use of financial management information systems, and able to collaborate effectively and manage a wide range of stakeholders.
About Our TeamOur team consists of various disciplines, including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services. Benefits and SalaryThis role offers a competitive salary range of $91,702 - $104,753 per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuation.
