Lead Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced lead operations manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant brewery pub in Melbourne.

  • Manage a front-of-house team that delivers exceptional hospitality to our customers.
  • Ensure seamless execution of daily operations, from service and safety to team morale and compliance.
  • Collaborate with our marketing, brewers, and kitchen teams to drive function and event sales.
  • Develop and implement local marketing strategies to boost venue buzz.
  • Maintain open communication channels with line managers to review progress and plan for future growth.
  • Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieving or exceeding revenue, profitability, and event targets.
  • Maintaining consistently high service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Fostering a strong team culture, high engagement, and low turnover.
  • SUCCESSFULLY delivering high-impact events and activations.
  • Maintaining zero safety or compliance incidents.
About You:
  • Proven experience managing fast-paced, high-volume venues or pubs.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with a focus on coaching, development, and performance management.
  • Commercial acumen, energy, and passion for hospitality.
  • Strong background in event coordination, budgeting, and operational planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills and natural customer service instincts.
  • Familiarity with craft beer culture and enthusiasm for collaborating with brewers and the wider team.
