Job Overview:

This role is responsible for leading the Team Sports and Men's Apparel merchandising divisions for Australia and New Zealand. The Manager will build the best range, define retail prices, and set launch dates for all articles in the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a range segmentation strategy to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Define seasonal men's apparel product ranges, considering historical sell-through and current product offers to ensure Under Armour and client revenue and margin maximization.
  • Set retail prices for all Team Sports and Men's Apparel articles, considering competitive landscapes and product margin targets.
  • Lead the assortment for Sydney FC and Essendon FC from briefing to delivery.
  • Ensure accurate unit allocation to the right channels and bulk dates per article in the SAP system.
  • Identify local consumer trends and market requirements to influence Regional and Global teams on future developments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing strategic projects from scope through definition, work planning, execution management, and measurement.
  • Advanced project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience defining and improving processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints in an environment where priorities must be continually re-evaluated and adapted as required.
  • Strong strategic thought leadership, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • 6 or more years of retail buying, merchandising, or category management-related experience.
