
Medical Record Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health Records Clerk to manage and maintain accurate patient records within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping documents for scanning, entering information into various systems, handling telephone calls and written requests, and facilitating the timely transfer of medical records or health information.
To succeed in this role, you should have well-developed IT, written and verbal communication skills, and be able to multitask in a dynamic work setting. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of medical records according to established standards
- Accurate entry of information into electronic systems
- Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties
- Tracking the location of all medical records that pass through the department
- Facilitating the efficient and confidential transfer of medical records or health information
