Job Title: Compliance Oversight Specialist

Role Overview:

As an experienced senior professional, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment through mentorship, guidance, and support. You will lead a team of talented professionals and drive new business opportunities, continuously improve methodologies and practices, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of auditors to deliver high-quality audit services
  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessments and testing
  • Conduct audits across various sectors, including public sector, owner-managed businesses, and small to mid-cap ASX listed entities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on audit standards and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge of local and international audit standards
  • Experience auditing public sector, large proprietary, and small-cap publicly listed companies
  • Sound understanding of internal control requirements for accounting and IT systems
  • CA, ACA, or ACCA qualification and a degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline with a major in Accounting or Business
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience and at least 1 year as a manager
