Fiscal Oversight SpecialistJob Description:
The Fiscal Oversight Specialist will be responsible for evaluating the quality of managed entities' governance, strategies, and practices.
- Evaluate the quality of managed entity's governance, strategies, and practices;
- Conduct preliminary analysis of specialized managed entities to identify potential issues and share with senior specialists;
- Support the delivery of fiscal engagements with managed entities by preparing agendas, briefings, and participating in entity engagements;
- Adapt style and process of oversight depending on the managed entities and be flexible to deal with differences in approach;
- Aquire and develop a range of financial/non-financial analysis and other oversight skills to support high-quality evaluation and risk assessment of managed entities.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have:
- A naturally inquisitive mindset complemented by strong analytical, investigative, and research skills;
- Excellent organizational, self, and priority management skills;
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
- Life insurance and/or Private Health insurance industry knowledge with a curiosity to learn;
- Up-to-date knowledge of financial market trends;
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
