Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The Risk Management Team serves as a central hub for key business analysis that demonstrates governance and oversight for all business functional areas. The role is responsible for reviewing and documenting internal processes and controls to ensure adequate oversight & compliance with corporate policy.

The ideal candidate will have experience with auditing, risk management (to include non-financial and financial risk) and/or control/compliance testing. Strong personal organisational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to deliver under pressure with tight deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the risk management framework to enhance first-line defense metrics demonstrating effectiveness of Risk & Control responsibilities through dashboards, reporting & operational risk management tools.
  • Assist Risk with the preparation and maintenance of a comprehensive controls library reflecting all key controls by identifying control gaps communicating rectification controls.
  • Collaborate with Compliance & Group/Regional Risk Management to manage 1LOD responsibilities relevant to the Operational Risk Framework.

The individual will work alongside Senior Management to identify and document any gaps/enhancements in the current control environment and mature Conduct and Culture framework. They will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to the revised Front Office Risk Management Framework (FORM) and Conduct Framework throughout the organization.
