Job Description

A care professional is required for a role in acute aged care. The position will involve assessing patients, administering medication, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage the care of patients with dementia, delirium, and other behavioural and psychological needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by medical practitioners.
  • Perform in-charge duties and supervise junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or aged care setting.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
