Job Title: Credit and Collections Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct credit collection activities, including inbound and outbound communication.
  • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements suitable to client needs, including hardship cases.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including system workflow management and resolving escalated customer inquiries.
  • E nsure timely processing of items within agreed client service level agreements.
  • Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • P articipate in team discussions, meetings, and forums to share knowledge and ideas.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills for information gathering and provision.
  • Superb negotiation skills to achieve satisfactory results for both customers and the business.
  • Strong administrative experience and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to multiple systems and processes.
  • A high level of initiative for methodical problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering quality and efficient service.
  • Previous experience in a utility or related industry is preferred.
