Defence Equipment Site Operations Manager

- Manage the delivery of maintenance, repair, and project services to Defence equipment, including vehicles, plant, equipment, and armoury.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial control, working within strict budgets and forecasting future needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and contract requirements are fulfilled.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Train and develop your team, supporting change initiatives and promoting best practice.
- Achieve exceptional safety and quality standards.
- Remove barriers to support the team's success.
- Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities for innovation.
- Proven leadership experience in a workshop environment.
- Trade qualification or maintenance expertise is highly desirable.
- Ability to interact and drive performance with technical staff and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Effective communication skills, including presenting, negotiating, and writing reports.
- Intermediate level MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver's license.
- Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Defence Security Clearance.
