Defence Equipment Site Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our team in the maintenance, repair and project services of Defence equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and contract performance objectives are achieved by managing the performance of delivery teams across the Northern QLD region.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance of delivery teams to achieve contract requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to effectively meet their needs
- Provide regular detailed reporting to stakeholders
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality and productivity
- Develop and train team members to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven management/leadership capability in a workshop environment
- Trade qualification or maintenance experience advantageous
- Ability to interact and drive performance with technical staff and subcontractors
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Effective communication skills including presenting, negotiating and writing reports
