Job Title: Strategic Workforce Developer

This is a dual-focused role, where you will be a champion for our people, driving workforce engagement initiatives across all sites and ensuring our team feels valued, connected, and supported.

About The Role:
  • Create and implement workforce development strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Design and deliver internal communication and cultural programs across all sites (in-person and virtual).
  • Coordinate company-wide engagement surveys and analyse data to support continuous improvement.
  • Champion reward and recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion activities.
  • Maintain a yearly calendar of cultural events, staff communications, and engagement touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to support change management and cultural alignment.
Responsibilities:
  • Workforce Engagement & Culture Initiatives:
    • Create and implement workforce development strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Design and deliver internal communication and cultural programs across all sites (in-person and virtual).
    • Coordinate company-wide engagement surveys and analyse data to support continuous improvement.
    • Champion reward and recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion activities.
    • Maintain a yearly calendar of cultural events, staff communications, and engagement touchpoints.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to support change management and cultural alignment.
  • Workforce Planning & Scheduling Support:
    • Conduct daily workforce coverage checks for production lines every Monday, ensuring full staffing.
    • Monitor rosters and cross-check actual attendance, identifying and resolving potential gaps.
    • Liaise with Team Leaders and Supervisors to organise coverage and communicate issues promptly.
    • Support urgent shift-filling and reallocation of labour across multiple lines.
    • Stay connected with our workforce to understand availability, skill sets, and preferences.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate timesheets and roster compliance in line with agreements.
  • HR & Administration Support (Ad Hoc):
    • Provide generalist administrative support to the HR Officers across the employee lifecycle.
    • Assist with recruitment coordination (e.g., scheduling interviews, onboarding).
    • Support site-level reception or office administration tasks as required.
    • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into HR systems and survey platforms.
    • Assist in reporting, document preparation, and internal communications material.
